The object was handcrafted from grogged clay, which the artists source from various countries, with diverse grains and colors. This material is ideal for hand-modeling while also being fire-resistant. It allows them to experiment with firing temperatures and thus create exceptionally durable objects.
In their creative work, the artists combine traditional craft techniques with their own innovative solutions. They enjoy experimenting with materials, structures, and textures.
Each object possesses unique and singular characteristics as well as specific technical and material qualities. The source of inspiration for each creation comes from nature and the transformative processes it undergoes. The artists draw upon the richness of organic forms, structures, and textures, striving to recreate, for example, the characteristic roughness, asperities, irregularities, or fissures on the surface of the objects.
All imperfections that occur during the creative process are seen by the artists as added assets, enriching the object's unique story and reinforcing its authenticity.
Thus, each piece is unique and truly singular. It is also signed by the artist.
Special warning: The vase is not watertight and is only suitable for dried floral arrangements.
