The object is handmade from oak wood, harvested locally in Poland. Each piece has unique individual characteristics, as well as specific technical and material qualities, which makes it unique, singular and incomparable. Each one is signed and certified.
Each object is the result of a combination of traditional craft techniques, the artist's technical mastery, a refined minimalist aesthetic, and a unique philosophy of woodworking. This philosophy is based on collaboration and dialogue with nature, as well as a deep understanding of the specific qualities of the sculptural material and the ability to adapt the artistic vision to the nature and complexity of the material.
The artist lets nature resonate fully in each of his projects, making it a full co-creator of the work. In accordance with this approach, he creates the shapes of his objects in such a way as to highlight not only the natural qualities of the wood, such as the grain pattern and color nuances, but also its imperfections, such as knots, cracks or discolorations.
The artist also intentionally leaves tool marks on the surfaces of his objects and accepts the natural processes of transformation and aging of wood, including wrinkles, cracks and changes in color. These elements are unique attributes of each piece, adding to its exceptional history and giving it an inimitable and unique character.
